Builders' Risk Insurance

A property insurance policy (ISO form CP 00 20) that provides direct damage coverage on buildings or structures while they are under construction. It also covers foundations, fixtures, machinery and equipment used to service the building, and materials and supplies used in the course of construction. Coverage may be written on a completed value (100% coinsurance) or reporting form (values reported as completed) basis, using either a property form or a broader inland marine form.
